As Buffy watched her friends in front of Sunnydale High she was saddened even more that she didn't get say goodbye to. She took comfort that they wouldn't be able to find her. As her bus passed the "Leaving Sunnydale" sign she knew to go to her father's.

As Anne walked into Psyche 101 she saw her best friend Phoebe Halliwell, one of the Charmed Ones. They had found out about each others' secret lives when Phoebe was attacked by a vampire and saved by Anne. "Hey Anne. How was your weekend?" Phoebe asked smiling as Anne sat down beside her. "Ok. I dusted three vamps." Anne said smiling.

"Is that all you do? When do you have any fun?" Phoebe asked. "I had fun once and it cost me everything." Anne said sadly. Phoebe wondered who had hurt Anne so badly that she wouldn't let any guy get close to her. Phoebe knew she was lucky along with her sisters; Phoebe had Cole, Piper had Leo, Prue had Andy. "How about you come for dinner tonight and all us girls can hang out?" Phoebe asked. "You got it, Pheebs." Anne said.

"Hey Anne. How have you been?" Piper asked. "Good. How about you and the other three Halliwells?" Anne asked. "We've all been good. Prue got her first big gig." Piper said. "Are the better halves here?" Anne asked smiling. "Yeah. Hope you don't mind." Piper said. "Of course not. I love them like brothers." Anne said.

"Hey Anne." Phoebe greeted followed by the guys and Prue. "Hey guys." Anne said and went to hug Phoebe. The moment Phoebe hugged Anne she saw some guy and Anne kissing, then Anne shoving him through with a sword and Anne crying and seeing everything that Anne had to go through.

"Phoebe are you okay?" Anne asked worriedly. "What did you see?" Cole asked. "I saw Anne and some guy kissing, then Anne shoving him through with a sword and her crying, then some people and her getting on a bus and going to LA." Phoebe said. "You saw all that?" Anne asked sadly with tears in her eyes. "Yeah. Who was that guy?" Phoebe asked.

"That was Angel." Anne said bursting into tears. Phoebe went to Anne and held her while she cried, "Is he the guy who hurt you?" Anne looked up and nodded while telling them the whole story. "Man." Cole said. "I'll say." Leo and everyone else said.

"Why did you see all that?" Anne asked. "I don't know. Maybe some evil you need to fight." Phoebe said helpfully. "That would be nice." Anne said. "I never say anyone who enjoyed fighting evil like you." Cole said. "It gives me something to take my frustration and stress out on." Anne said.

Everyone was gathered around the table including Spike and Angel who were researching some big evil that was about to rise in San Francisco. Angel was distracted by thoughts of Buffy and wondering how she was, where she was, and if she was happy. "Hey Peaches. Get back to work and quit thinking about the slayer." Spike said. "Easier said than done, Spike. Quit calling me that." Angel said. Everyone understood and wondered where she was. At the point they got an e-mail on Willow's lap-top.

Willow jumped up hoping it was from Buffy. Willow was relieved to see that it was and read it aloud:

Hey Scoobies,

How are you guys? I hope you are all doing good. I'm doing okay, but I really wish you guys were with me. My new friends and their better halves suggested that I e-mail you and tell you guys how I'm doing and stuff. I don't know if I'll contact you again, but if I don't remember that I love you all and wish you guys the best.

Love, Buffy

Everyone had tears in their eyes including Spike who said, "She sounds so sad." Everyone looked surprised to find that he cared about her and they all agreed, "I know. Maybe I can trace the e-mail." Willow suggested. "Good idea Willow." Giles said.

"How do you feel?" Prue asked. "I feel a little better." Anne said. "Why did you sign the letter Buffy?" Phoebe asked. "That's my real name. Elizabeth Anne Summers, but I went by Buffy. Since I ran away and went to my dad I started going by Anne that way they wouldn't be able to find me, if they looked. That was a great dinner by the way. I should probably get going." Anne said. After she said bye to all her friends she headed to her apartment and never noticed that her mother passed by and recognized her, then followed her home.

"I know where she is." Joyce said bursting in. "Where?" Angel demanded. "She's in San Francisco. I saw her on my way to my hotel and followed her home. She seemed so sad and lost." Joyce said sadly. "Where does she live?" Giles asked. "2513 East Apartments." Joyce said. "Looks like we're going to San Francisco." Xander said.

Prue was standing with a sign that read Giles on the front. Prue was looking forward to meeting Giles and getting more photography exposure. "I'm Giles." Prue looked up at a smiling man and said, "I'm Prue Haliwell. It's nice to meet you. Are all these people with you?" Prue asked surprised. "Yes. We're looking for a friend besides doing business." Giles said. "I know what you mean. My sister has a friend that needs to find her way again." Prue said sadly. "How about you come to my house we can discuss business." Giles was surprised and said, "Okay."

"Well this is it." Prue said. "It's beautiful." Giles said. "Thanks. I share it with my sisters and their better halves along with my own." Prue said. "Prue is that you?" Piper asked. "Yeah. Come on out and meet some friends." Prue said. "Hi. I'm Piper Wyatt and this is my husband Leo." Piper said smiling. "It's nice to meet you both. How many sisters do you have?" Giles asked. "Well, I'm the oldest. I have two younger sisters. There's Piper, Phoebe, although Phoebe is at college." Prue said.

"Honey I'm home." Phoebe rang out. "That's Phoebe right now." Prue said smiling. "Oh, I didn't know we had company. I'm Phoebe." She said smiling. "It's nice meeting you." Giles and everyone else shook her hand. When Phoebe shook Xander's hand she saw them and Anne fighting together. "Pheebs, did you have another headache?" Prue asked. "It's all right Prue. They're demon hunters to." Phoebe said. "How did you know?" Giles asked. "We're the Charmed Ones." Piper said smiling.

"Phoebe?" Cole said materializing beside her. "Whoa! How did he do that?" Xander asked while everyone else was to shocked to ask. "This is my husband Cole Turner. Cole these are demon hunters and friends of Prue who I imagine need help in demon central." Phoebe said. "Good guess." Spike said. "How did you get in here?" Xander demanded. "I was invited by Piper." Spike said.

"Where's Deadboy?" Xander asked. "He went to check us in at the hotel. Well I guess that's him right now." Spike said at a knock on the door. "Sorry it took so long." Angel said. "You!" Phoebe exclaimed. "Do I know you?" Angel asked. "No, sorry. You just looked like someone I know." Phoebe said. "I'm Prue Halliwell, this is Piper, her husband Leo, and Phoebe and her husband Cole. My husband is on a stakeout. Well we'd like to help if we can." Prue said. "That would be great." Giles said.

Anne was woken up by her roommate Doyle, "What?" Doyle handed her the phone and said, "It's Prue." Anne took it and said, "Hey. What's up?" Prue filled her in, but left out names and asked, "We need you to come over and help." Anne said, "I'll be there in 15 minutes max, I'll bring Doyle to. Come on Doyle, we have work to do."

"Who was that?" Phoebe asked. "I called Anne and asked her and Doyle to come help." Prue said. "What!?!" Phoebe cried. "What'd I do?" Prue asked. "Can I talk to you and Piper in private?" Phoebe asked. "Sure. What's with the screaming?" Prue asked. "Yeah." Piper said. "Those people are friends of Anne's and that guy I recognized that was Angel." Phoebe said. "What!?!" Prue and Piper exclaimed. "What's with the bloody screaming?" Spike yelled. "Nothing. Sorry about that. Are you sure Pheebs." Piper said. "Yes, I did see what he looked like. Remember?" Phoebe said. "Sorry." Prue said.

At the moment there was a knock on the door and Cole answered it, "Hey Anne, Doyle." Anne smiled and said, "Hey Cole," while hugging him. "Come on in. Everyone's in here." Cole said. "Thanks." Anne said. When Anne walked into the living room and saw the Scoobies she stood shocked. "Girls, Anne and Doyle are here." Cole shouted.

Everyone looked up and saw Doyle and wondered who this Anne girl was. "Where's Anne?" Phoebe asked frantically. "Right here." Doyle said dragging Anne out from hiding. "Buffy!" Angel shouted. "Stay away from me! Your dead! I killed you!" Anne shouted crying before passing out.

After Prue filling Andy in on what was happening when he got arrive home. "Whoa! Our Buffy is doing all that?" Xander asked. "Yeah. After what happened I guess she just cut herself off from everything except work and school." Phoebe said. "Hmmm. Doyle." Anne said. "I'm here princess." Doyle said. "I had the strangest dream." Anne said and bolted upright and ran out the door when she saw it wasn't a dream.

"Anne! Where are you going? Prue where's Anne going?" Andy asked. Prue introduced her husband and filled him in and said, "No wonder." Willow looked up and asked, "What do you mean?" Andy looked at her and said, "Anne is like a sister to all of us. All we wanted was for to be happy and we thought that maybe if she went on one date she'd be happy. I set her up with a friend of mine and she never showed up. Now I know why." Andy said. "What do you mean?" Joyce asked. "She cut herself off from guys." Phoebe said. "Why do you call her Anne?" Xander asked. "She goes by her middle name now." Phoebe said.

"Where has she been all this time?" Joyce asked. "She said that after she left Sunnydale she went to live with her father and he's still putting her through school." Phoebe said. "Hank! He's known where she was all this time and never told me?" Joyce exclaimed. "Well, considering the fact that you threw her out, accused her of being crazy, and threatened to send her to an asylum again!" Phoebe yelled.

"She was where?" Giles asked. "Didn't Joyce tell you that she sent Anne to an asylum for the mentally deranged." Phoebe asked sweetly. "How could you do that to her?" Willow asked. "She tried to kill one of Hank's business associates." Joyce said. "No, I didn't. He tried to rape me. So I broke his arm and leg." Anne said.

"See, that's why. She tried to lie her way out of it, like she always does." Joyce said. "Why don't you just go home and leave me alone. Besides you knew where I was." Anne said. "What are you talking about?" Joyce asked. "Dad sent you the papers." Anne said. "What papers?" Joyce asked. "The relinquishment papers, Joyce. You signed them and sent a little note with them." Hank Summers said. "Here's the note to prove it." Anne said. Joyce went home to Sunnydale.

"So Slayer how have you been?" Spike said. "None of your business. Did Dru dump you again?" Anne asked. "Maybe I dumped her." Spike said. "Yeah. Sure you did." Anne said smirking. "Why are you being like this?" Angel asked. "None of you have any idea what I've been through. You couldn't even begin to imagine what I've done or what I've had to put with." Anne said running out the door.

"Anne, are you there?" Leo called. "I'm right here." Anne said. "We really need your help so do the others." Leo said. "They don't need me, they never did. All they wanted was a hero, now they have one." Anne said sadly. "Please help us, Anne. We can't do this without you and you know that, besides if you help we'll leave you alone about the guy thing. Okay?" Leo promised. "Okay." Anne said.

"Wow. She's great." Xander said. "Yeah, she's really come a long way. When we first met her the coordination was off and she was kinda sloppy. We helped her develop more skills along with the training room we bought for her birthday." Leo said. Anne knocked Cole down in one brutal kick and quickly asked, "Cole are you okay? I'm really sorry about that." Cole just smiled and gave her a big hug, "Don't worry about it, sis."

"Great job Anne." Phoebe said giving her a hug. "Thanks Pheebs." Anne said smiling. "Yeah, that was great Buffy." Giles said. "My name is Anne." She said. "Sorry Anne." Giles said. "Don't worry about it, Giles." Anne said.

"Well, I gotta get to class." Anne said. "We don't have any classes today, Anne." Phoebe said. "I mean I promised dad that we'd go to the movies." Anne said walking out the door.

"Why is she being such a bitch?" Willow asked. "Whoa, Willow. You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Xander asked. "I don't know why she's acting this way. Maybe it's her way of dealing with everything that's happened recently." Phoebe said. "Do you think it was a bad idea to come here?" Willow asked. "No, just give her time to deal." Phoebe said. "How would you know?" Xander asked. "Maybe because me and my sisters had to deal with the fact that we're witches and it was kept from us our entire lives." Piper said. "Do you think that she blames me for what happened with Angelus?" Angel asked. "No. She told us there was a big difference between the two. Why don't you go ask the guys about having relationships with the Charmed Ones." Prue said. "Okay." Angel said.

"Angel?" Leo asked. "Yeah. Leo right?" Angel asked. "Yeah. Prue said that you wanted to know about having relationships with the Charmed Ones." Leo said with Cole behind him. "Yeah. You don't mind do you?" Angel asked. "Of course not." Cole said. "When I first met Piper their grandmother was dying and their powers were about to show up. So my bosses decided that I needed to help them when I could without them knowing it. So I told them that I was handyman and could fix anything for them cheap. Phoebe found out that I was their Whitelighter and I made her promise not to tell her sisters. When Piper found out who I was I told Piper that I could give up my powers and be with her. She didn't want me to do that, because she knew that if I did I would always regret it, but in the end we finally were able to get married." Leo said smiling at his wife.

"Whoa! Sounds a little like me and Buffy, except for the happy ending part." Angel said sadly. "Okay. Well, I'm half-demon because my mother was demon and my father was human. My father refused to give me back to my mother and because he refused she killed him right in front me. After that I closed myself off to my human side. The Triad told to kill the Charmed Ones, I was going to after I gained their trust. Phoebe was the first one I got to trust me, and because I did we fell for each other. When my bosses found out that I was falling for Phoebe they sent another demon to kill them and I barely saved them. When the girls found out I was Balthazar they tried to kill me, but Phoebe and me faked my death. I couldn't leave her alone and after a few months I came back to try and win her back. I had to get their trust back and it took a long time, we finally got married two months ago and have never been happier." Cole said kissing Phoebe. "I wish me and Buffy could have a happy ending like that." Angel said sadly.

"Are you guys home?" Anne called out. "Yeah. What's going on?" Prue asked. "I found the big evil." Anne said. "What did it look like?" Piper asked. "It's hard to explain. The moron tried to kill me and in the process told me all about his plans. He's probably still gonna try and kill you guys." Anne said angrily. "When?" Paige asked. "It was supposed to be tonight, but since he told me his plans I imagine he may postpone it." Anne said.

"I doubt that." Prue said. "True. Could be he's trying to keep us off balance." Anne said. "Well, girls it looks like we have a demon to research and see if we can find a vanquishing spell or if I'll have to kill it myself." Anne said. "Good idea, Anne. Why don't you go up and help them." Cole suggested. "Okay, Cole." Anne said. "Can we come up?" Willow asked. "Is it okay if they come up?" Anne asked. "Sure." Prue said smiling.

"Whoa! I will never get used to the Book doing that." Paige said laughing. "Is that the demon Anne?" Piper asked. "Yeah. Looks like I'm gonna have to fight him while you all say the spell. Which I really like." Anne said happily. "What?" Giles asked shocked. "It's how I work my frustration and stress out. I never go on dates and when I go out I go to P3 or I sign up for more self-defense classes." Anne said. "What's P3?" Xander asked. "Piper's club." Anne said.

As Prue and Anne were walking through the dining room something burst in from the windows. Prue ran to get ready while Anne started fighting while the demon said, "I will be remembered for killing the strongest slayer in history." Anne dodged a punch and kicked knocking him down and quipped, "Well I will be remembered for killing the dumbest demon." The demon knocked Anne off straddled her, about to kill her until she grabbed his arm and twisted breaking it and kicking him off.

While Anne was fighting the demon Prue, Piper, and Phoebe were getting everyone to pitch in. The Charmed Ones heard Anne yell, "Hurry up. I can't keep this up much longer." Phoebe looked at Cole, Angel, and Spike and said, "Go help her. We can't lose her." Cole materialized while Angel and Spike ran down the stairs to help.

Shax from centuries past,
come to destroy.

Downstairs Shax was getting the upper hand until he started screaming in agony and Anne used that opportunity to start pummeling him and not stopping until fire erupted from his chest. Anne stopped and watched in awe over what she had helped destroy for humanity.

Anne ran to Angel and meaning to give him a kiss on the cheek touched his lips instead and the kiss turned passionate. They were so caught up with each other that they didn't see everyone else show up until Spike asked, "Bloody hell. Are you two back together again?"

Anne pulled back like she had been burned and ran out the door crying, "No! Not again!" Angel looked at her running back and yelled, "Buffy! Wait, I have to tell something! Please stop!"

Anne didn't stop running until she got to the river that ran through the park. Anne was mad at herself and yelled, "Why? Why are you doing this to me? I did everything that you people wanted! I stopped having a life and what do you do!?! You throw my ex-lover in my face literally. What did I ever do to you people?"

Anne was so busy yelling at the Powers That Be that she didn't hear the Phoebe or Willow behind her. "Anne? What's wrong?" Phoebe asked. "What's wrong? What's wrong? I do everything that the Powers That Be want and they throw the one guy I will ever love and never be able to have in my face and you ask me what's wrong." Anne said bitterly.

"Anne. Didn't Angel tell you?" Willow asked. "Tell me what, Will?" Anne asked sniffing. "His soul is permanent." Willow said smiling. "What? Tell me again. I thought you said…" Anne said tearfully. "Everything that you want can and will happen." Willow said smiling. Anne took off running and Phoebe didn't know where she was going, except Willow smiling because she knew.

"Hello? Is anyone home?" Anne called. "Anne? Is that you?" Prue asked coming from the kitchen followed by Piper and the guys. "Where is he?" Anne asked frantically. "They went back to their hotels." Cole said. "Where are they staying?" Anne demanded. "Ramada Inn." Doyle said smiling. "Thanks Doyle. I owe you one." Anne said. "Don't worry about it. Just seeing you happy is payment enough, princess." Doyle said smiling. As Anne ran out the door everyone was grinning knowing that Anne was finally gonna get the guy she deserved to be with.

As Angel was staring at the moon he heard someone knocking on the door. Thinking it was Spike he went to the door ready to tear into him again, but stopped short when he saw it was Buffy. "Buffy. Are you alright?" She looked at him and asked, "Can I come in?" Angel let her in and they sat down on the bed and he asked, "Why are you here?" Buffy looked at him and said, "I came to apologize for running out like that and the way I've been treating you. I just couldn't deal with everyone finding me, that confrontation with my mom, and seeing you again after sending you to hell."

Angel looked at her and said, "I understand. I don't blame you for what happened." Buffy had tears in her eyes and asked, "Why? If it wasn't for me we wouldn't have had to go through that." Angel looked at her and said, "Buffy, I wanted that night to happen as much as you did. I love you and I always will." Buffy smiled and said, "I love you too. I never stopped even when you were gone. I know about your soul."

"How?" Angel asked. "Willow told me." Buffy said smiling wickedly. Angel smiled and went to kiss her gently; instead she grabbed his head and deepened it. Angel lowered her onto the bed gently and started unbuttoning her blouse, while she pulled his sweater over his head. Somehow their clothes magically disappeared and they were naked flesh to flesh. When she opened for him he slid inside her in a single slow stroke meaning to tease her while she moaned. Seven long years of being alone all melted away with his touch, and kiss. As Angel thrusted inside her she was so wet, tight, and liquid fire. He couldn't hold out much longer and he wanted to make it last as long as possible. He grabbed her hips and thrust harder, deeper, and hitting even more sensitive areas inside her, as he took her mouth he drove himself deep inside of her.

Buffy was through with Angel, while he trying to calm down a bit, Buffy wasn't having any of it. Buffy climbed on top of Angel and slipped him inside of her and gently moved up and down. Angel put Buffy on her back and angled her legs even higher, allowing him deeper access. He thrust into her gently at first then Buffy wrapped her legs around him and their tempo increased greatly and became frantic. When they finally climaxed together they laid down with Buffy lying on top of Angel while he stroked her back.

"I've missed you so much." Buffy said. "I've missed you to. I'm sorry about what happened with Angelus." Angel said. "That wasn't your fault. You had no control over what he did. Why didn't you ever tell me that we were married?" Buffy asked. "How did you find out?" Angel asked shocked. "One of my classes researched Ireland and their way of life. My teacher showed the picture of the wedding ring and how it's worn if you're married." Buffy said smiling.

"I'm sorry I never told you." Angel said sadly. "Don't worry about it. I was angry at first, but I understood why you never told me. It would have just made it harder." Buffy said. "How about we make it official?" Angel asked. "Was that a marriage proposal?" Buffy asked grinning. "Yeah. What do you say?" Angel asked. "Yes! Of course I'll marry you." Buffy shouted.

Buffy and Angel got married in a simple service two weeks later, with their family and friends attending, except Joyce. Prue, Piper, Phoebe, and Willow were bridesmaids; Angel asked Leo, Cole, Andy, and Xander to stand with him. Angel found Buffy staring at the sunset from their Victorian style house next door to the Halliwells. Angel snuck up behind Buffy and wrapped his arms around her and asked, "What you thinking about?" Buffy smiled and said, "Our wedding and how life has been since." Angel smiled and said, "It has been good. We've been blessed with three kids."

"Did you hear about Piper and Leo?" Buffy asked. "No. What about them?" Angel asked. "Piper's pregnant again." Buffy said smiling. "Dang. That's four kids now." Angel said. "Yeah. What about Phoebe, Cole, Prue, and Andy? They each have three kids." Buffy said. "True, but how can they all live in that house if they keep having kids like that?" Angel asked. "Don't know. Maybe you should ask them." Buffy suggested. "Nah." Angel said.

"Honey. I have something to tell you." Buffy said. "What?" Angel asked curiously. "The test results came today." Buffy told him. "What did they say?" Angel asked worriedly. "I'm fine. We're fine." Buffy said smiling. "We're fine?" Angel asked shocked. "Yeah. I'm pregnant." Angel grabbed Buffy and they spent the rest of the day celebrating and were graced by twins.
