Dawn and Spike is an unconventional pairing from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Dawn is Buffy's little sister, who's constantly fighting to not being looked at as a kid just because she doesn't have the power to defend herself. Spike's the rebel vampire who more than anyone else understands Dawn, doesn't patronize her. It is not a secret that Dawn has a crush on Spike, but that is as far as the show took it. I fell for them when I read a really good Spike/Dawn fanfic once and since then I've found myself really liking the pairing. Being someone who most often than not falls for one of the conventional pairings I think that says a lot.
