TALK: Nathan Fillion & Elizabeth Anne Allen:

Nathan and Elizabeth were real gems. I know I say these things a lot, but they were really nice and funny and everything, so if I'm repeating myself it's because I mean it with everything.

ME: "How do you feel about playing a character so connected with the rat?
She said she felt like the poster child for rats, but she doesn't mind, because rats are really nice creatures and someone has to speak for them and it might as well be her.

ME: "What do you feel about the rat playing you actually being male"?
She laughed and said the rat playing her's name was Michael (Malcom?) and she really liked him. She got to play with him, feed him, pick up his calling cards and things like that.

ME: "Have fans directly associated you with the rat?"
No fans had directly associated her, she could get like rats in the mail, toy-rats and things like that, but that was just fun and it was really nice.

A girl said that her new rat kept biting her and wondered if Elizabeth had any advice for her what to do:
First she laughed and said that rats are very social creatures, doesn't like to be left alone and therefore they can bite her, so she wondered if she should get an other rat to keep him company and Elizabeth answered jokingly "Either that or just take him to bed with you at night..."

Someone else asked her what role she would like to have if she was doing firefly:
At first she answered Nathans role, but was asked to make up her own role and she came with a confession that she had never seen firefly, but that Nathan was going to do something about it as he was giving her the box set for her birthday (was a bit tempted to ask him if I could get it for my birthday as it was the next day... lol)
