Adorable - a universal description...

I didn't know anything about Nickolaus prior to Fusion, my first convention ever. I didn't know what to expect from anyone, least of all him, as I really had no clue. But I was still excited to meet him and find out more about how it's like from a crew-members perspective and not just the actors.

I found out that Nick is very passionate about his work, he loves clothes and I think he really appreciated to watch the fancy dress competition.

My first an pretty much only encounter with Nick was the Thursday, the day prior to the event's official start. He and Clare was in an autograph session open to the first 200 who queued. And I managed to get in the first day's batch. I wasn't completely aware that there were gonna be two people signing, I guess I kinda got confused or something like that, but I had originally intended on getting my con book signed by him, but I wasn't sure on how it worked if you wanted one personal item signed by one and one by the other, so I ended up only having my diary there, but then I opened it up and saw that the inside of the covers were perfect to be signed. He was really enthusiastic and nice. Asking people if it was their first con and such. I handed him my Buffy diary for him to sign when it was my turn.

NICKOLAUS: "How do you pronounce it?"

ME: "Gu-ro"

NICKOLAUS: "Wow, everyone has such great names here."

ME: "It's norwegian."

NICKOLAUS: "Don't say... you're from norway"

Later on when I got to talk to Clare he was there as well, giving me a compliment.

NICKOLAUS: "You speak really well english"

ME: "That's just influence from my Brittish friends."

NICKOLAUS: "Yeah, sure."

ME: "Allright, it comes from 6 hours daily of television watching."

NICKOLAUS: "That's more like it"
