The biggest surprise... so far

I was going to "When Harry met Sally" with a friend. We were standing in the bar having a drink before the show and I thought there was something really familliar with the person to my right, so I looked, and looked, and looked, and looked... and in the end, my friend sighed.

FRIEND: "Yes, that's him"

I went completely dark red and my eyes were as wide as they could be and I was all full of desire to just go to him and ask for an autograph or a picture, but he was talking to someone and it would be awfully rude. Also in the break in the play he was just as close as before and I really wanted to approach him, but it would be completely different if he had been on his own there, cause then I would have approached him, but I just couldn't. Then they announced that the play was starting up again and I went to find my seat and I passed him so I smiled at him.

ME: "Hi."

JASON: "Hi, how are you?"

ME: "I'm fine, how are you?"

As this was in a tight, tight hallway I could say anything mroe before I had to pass him and return to my seat, but at least I got to talk to him. And after the play on my way to the back to wait for Aly I passed him, if I hadn't been in a hurry I would grab my chance then, but I didn't. Aly was my priority. I got no photo or autograph, but at least I got to talk to him.
