She feels that he's harassing her, so Dana takes her with her to record the teacher, she asks her if she's ready and understands the plan, and Karen answers: - Yeah, it'll be like Buffy the mean teacher slayer...

Jake's just overheard his brother talk about a Kandrona and heads over to Marco, who's painting the walls with his dad, to tell him: Marco: "So what's up? I'm assuming you didn't come to help." Jake: "I've got some big news." Marco: "You ran into Buffy the vampire slayer at the mall and she wouldn't give you her number, because she was saving herself for this smart, charming, handsome..." Jake: "...modest..." Marco: "...dude named Marco." Jake: "Wow... it's almost like you were there..." The guys laugh...

As they are twins I have no idea who said what, but: Twin one: "Can it get any worse?" Twin two: "Does Buffy slay vampires?" (Possibly she said kill, I just read this off the subtext)

Lily Moscovitz's Guide to What's Hot and What's Not on TV (With commentary by Mia Thermopolis): Buffy the Vampire Slayer Lily: Feministis empowerment at its peak, entertainment at its best. The heroine is a lean, mean, vampire-killing, machine, who worries as much about her immortal soul as she does messing up her hair. A strong role model for young women - nay, people of all sexes and ages will benefit from the viewing of this show. All of television should be this good. The fact that this show has, for so long, been ignored by the Emmys is a travesty. Mia: If only the Buffster could just find a boyfriend who doesn't need to drink platelets to survive. High point: any time there's kissing. Low point: none.
