Friday
This was the very first time I saw Nick so of course a handshake wasn't enough. I went straight up and got myself a hug. (I'm a hugger, ok?) He chuckled, hugged me back and said "There you go", then I got this really great picture of me and him in a semi-hug thing. I'm VERY happy about it. And on my own behalf it didn't turn out half-bad in showing me.


Friday:
Clare and me? Ooold friends. LOL. I got her autograph the day before, then I got to talk to her for a little while and I also asked a few questions in her talk where she waved at me. And she greeted me with "Good questions" LOL. But what really made an impression was when I saw that she had written "Thanks for the artwork" on my picture. She really remembered me...


Saturday:
Nick I had met the day before at his own photoshoot, Emma I had the pleasure of passing or get passed by several times the day before and she was the only one I got to personally give my drawing to at the con. In the queue I saw Emma comforting a girl who started crying. I just went aw. Such a sweetheart. And the photo turned out great. :D


Saturday:
Elizabeth was as well a real sweetheart. This was the first time I met her. I had seen her in a talk earlier that day and asked some questios, but this was the first time I met her. I asked her if I could get a hug (I'm simply a hugger, ok?) and she said "Of course". The pictures turned out great. :D


Saturday:
I had met both Tom and Sarah in an autograph session the day before and with any groupshot it's a whole other experience than a one on one, as you loose the ability to make eye contact as you want to make contact with both. But the photo turned out good and they were both really nice. And a bonus: they signed it before I got it back.


Sunday:
I had allready met Juliet before as we had talked that friday for a bit. When it was my turn and she saw me she went all "Oh, hey!" and hugged me. And when I told her it was my birthday she wished me a happy birthday. At first I was a bit taken back at her remembering me. We were after all 1700 attendees. Then I got extremely excited about it :D


Sunday:
First of all Emma looked absolutely stunning, but then again she did throughout the week-end. I got a hug from her as well as birthday wishes (celebrating birthdays at cons is just the BEST way to do it!). And when it comes to how the picture turned out I must say that it is one of my favourite ones, next to the one of me and Nick. Those are my two favourites.


Sunday:
If anyone said I didn't seize the moments I got they would be lying. I had met James the day before in the autograph session. He was charming and really nice. Here I asked if I could get a hug since it was my birthday, I didn't only get one, but he hugged me in the picture as well. And of course the picture turned out really well.

Saturday
Despite this being taken early morning on the Saturday I had met and talked to both of them. Before the photo session even started, Dennis spotted me and waved at me. And when I came up to them when it was time to have my picture taken, Stacey remembered me at once and told Dennis that I was from Norway. We had the photo taken and I was about to go and Dennis went "Oh right, you're my pal from last night" and continued with "sorry, I keep forgetting". Photo-wise, I don't think I came out too well, but it doesn't matter.

I had allready met Sarah on the friday, where I had been talking to her at the bar, she was a really easy going person to talk to and the fact that she was really interessted in hearing about my country was also cool.

Sometimes the photographer thinks he messed up and feels the need to take another photo, the worse of them are usually taken out before the photos are sent to be autograph, but they missed these two, so both of them ended up getting signed, which I have *no* problem with :)

Like I'm gonna end up saying with every person at this con, I had met and talked to Jenny the day before. Actually we had stood as a big group with her chatting and we can obviously say with the comment "Go Norway" on the photo that she remembered who I was :P

I was so happy when I got to meet Clare that Friday and my happiness continued when she remembered me and not just that, but when I told her about my birthday present plans for my best pal, she was totally in on it. And I can happily say that photo turned out great and the receiver has it framed in his livingroom now. And when it was time to have my own taken, she pulled me into a close hug.

First time I met Andy I gave him a drawing of Lorne and he gave me a kiss on the cheek, so of course I have nothing short of great things to say about him. When I went to have my picture taken with him he told me he loved my costume :D I feel I look like an idiot myself, but it's a great shot of Andy :)

The minute I came up to Vladamir in this photo session he exclaimed "Hey, it's my norwegian sister". This comes from a guesttalk where I had asked about the thirteenth warrior and the use of norwegian within the movie. When I talked to him later on he even told me a Norwegian, Swedish and Danish joke. LOL

Of all the guests, Dayne is the one I talked the least to, not on purpose or anything, but when u get to have lengthy conversations with 8 out of 9 guests it's a bit silly to think about why you didn't have one with the 9th. From seeing him with several other attendees and hearing from him in guesttalks he came across me as a genuine, sweet and funny guy.

This isn't the only photo I had with Amy, but it's the only one I'm allowed to post here. On Saturday I got a photo with her made up as Illyria, which I will cherish immensely. It was there I got my hug from her. When I had this one taken Amy told me she loved my costume, which made me really happy. Despite my own double-chin I am quite happy with how I turned out in this photo and people *look* at that woman, can you believe she actually just had a baby? It doesn't show at all.

I had never before met Vincent until that photoshoot and I've got to say, having a photo or just waiting to have a photo with Vincent or whoever's with him that day, is a blast. When he wasn't up in front of the camera, he came up with funny things to do on the sideline to amuse us and whenever he was in front of the camera and a girl came up, he would be flirty with each and everyone. When it was my turn I asked him if I could have a hug, not only did he hug me, but he also kissed my cheek and called me lovely. The photo turned out nicely. I'm really happy with it.

Keith was in the same photoshoot as Vincent, so most my focus kinda went away from him as Vincent was doing things to amuse us on the sideline. I don't remember exactly what, but there was something with a table, that much I remember. Man my memory needs to be reset or something. I forget way too many things now. Keith was a real treat to have a photo with, it turned out nicely and I've gotta say I love his signature, the way he's included a Holtz smilie.

Clare. How on earth do I begin to cover Clare, it's simply not possible. This is my third event with her and the third photo I've taken with her (or well... fourth if you count the extra one I had with the birthday banner for a friend last year) and it doesn't matter how many photos I already have, I need to have one for each time. When I was standing in the queue I observed how amazing Clare is to every single fan and how she recognized several of them. Then it was my turn and even though I know how wonderfull Clare is, it was still unexpected. She threw her arms around me, and I mean really threw her arms around me and pulled me in for a big hug, not just one time, she hugged me again, telling me I had made her day (Man, Clare, how you make me emotional like that). It took me a couple of seconds just to be ready for the photo being taken, lol. I loved how it turned out, it seems to me that for every year we meet, we get closer and closer in the photo, you can like see our bond grow and it's simply amazing. On it, she's written "I love you" and all I have to say to that is: I love you, too, Clare!

I'd won a Kane CD in the raffle at my last con, so I thought why not have a photo with one of the band members in addition to Christian. And since it costs the same to have two individual photos as it costs to have a double, I always go with the individual ones. Funny thing was when the photographer told Christian, that the next ones in the queue were having photos only with Steve and Christian was like "what?". My photo with Steve turned out nicely as well and next stop was to show Christian that we were here for him too. lol

This isn't the only photo I have with Christian, I also have one with the make-up shoot as Lindsey, but I'm not allowed to post it for copyright reasons, so I'll stick to this one. I asked Christian if I could hug him in the photo, which of course he said yes to. I love the photo, it's always nice to have a hugging photo. I've wanted to meet Christian for a while now. He was on my wishlist for last year.

When I was queueing for a photo with Amy I was apalled when a fan further ahead in the queue insisted on having a photo where he touched Amy's stomach. I can only imagine how tiring it must be for a pregnant woman to have strangers touching her stomach all the time. She was really nice about it though, Amy, always so accomendating to her fans. When it was my turn I didn't ask for a hug or anything, because I didn't want to make Amy uncomfortable, even though I knew she wouldn't say no. It didn't mean so much, because I had gotten a hug the year before. I liked how the photo turned out. Amy looks gorgeous as always and I love how her shirt flows over the little bump. She wasn't kidding when she said she was having a little girl... lol

I hate how my mind is blank about the photo I had with Andy. I don't know if I asked for a hug or not, if I said anything. Good thing I have more stories on the previous con, huh. The photo is really nice and really shows how tall Andy is. His arm is over my shoulder with no problem at all. It's not behind me, it's over me. Boy do I feel tiny. The photo turned out nice, I feel that I'm looking as happy as I felt that moment.

This is the only photo from this event where one can truly see my hair color, blue-green. I look so pale in the picture, just the way I like it. I almost match his white shirt... lol, that says a lot. I don't remember anything from the photoshoot other than the fact that I ask for and received a hug from him. Yes, I'm a hugger, okay? lol. I love how the photo turned out, especially how the colors just match :)

Jonathan was a surprise guest announced on Saturday night, so the photoshoot itself was a surprise factor. Lucky I had gone to the cash machine and gotten some more money. When I was queueing for Jonathan's photo, I saw how many fans in front of me did special poses and the idea of this pose just came to mind, which Jonathan of course was up to. the photo turned out nicely and I'm happy on my choice to wear that dress at the convention, since the photos were so much darker than other events. Any of my usual clothes and all you'd see was arms and a head floating around somewhere... lol

I always regretted not having a picture with the Firefly guests at Fusion. True I hadn't seen Firefly yet then, but it was still cool to have met them, however I at least got to rectify that with Jewel and possibly because of that and the fact that I absolutely adore Jewel, I might've overdone it with the photos, but it was worth it. I was dressing up as Kaylee and the terryfying space monkey in the fancy dress, so I wore my Kaylee outfit the whole day, including the photo-session. When Jewel saw me she immediately bent down, because she wanted to pat the teddybear I had sewn onto my knee. The minute she did that, the work I put into the costume was worth it. After the photo was taken I also got a hug. *sigh*

It was extra fun when I went up to have my picture taken with Sean and Jewel. For one Simon/Kaylee is my favourite Firefly couple, so of course I had to have my photo taken with both of them in addition to the individual shots... lol Also, when I came up, even though Jewel had just done it, she once again bent down to pet the teddybear on my knee, saying it was for good luck.

I have a crush on Sean, well actually I have a crush on Jewel and Sean both. And of course it was extra fun getting a photo with him while I was dressed up as Kaylee. An added bonus being the hug I got from him when I was up there as well. I love Sean :)

Okay, here I am ranting about Jewel and Sean, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate Morena as well, I look like crap as always, but who cares about that, I mean, look at her. She's absolutely gorgeous and really sweet as well. Her and Jewel together at a guest talk and you really can't go wrong, the two of them are absolutely amazing together.

I'm trying really hard to find a story here, but the only things I remember about Mark (damn memory) is that I thought he was hilarious in the guest talk. lol, he was absolutely nice and I also remember that he took his son with him out to check out the fancy dress competitors, which was fun.

Man, the only story about Christina I have is the one from the autograph session. I had brought my mascot, or what became my mascot because everyone seemed to love it so much, Christina included. It was an animatronic monkey that I named "Simon". I managed to place him at the edge of the table so he fell to the floor and Christina shouted "Monkey down!" lol, the monkey's fine, don't worry. And he'll be tagging along with me on my next convention, whichever that will be... lol

Here's a fun guy. Michael did his opening ceremony as well as closing ceremony speach as Niska, which was a lot of fun. The guy himself is as far from the character as he can be. When I went up to have my picture with him, I didn't even notice that he was holding out his hands to shake him, so he had to nod his head downwards for me to get the hint... lol A sweet and funny guy.

This is what I mean about going overboard. I just can't help it, it's Jewel for goodness sake... lol. This was the day following the fancy dress competition. My costume "Kaylee and the battle of the terrifying space monkey" had been designed for one goal and one goal only, to make Jewel laugh. Not only did I succeed and she slapped her hand over her mouth while nudging Sean in the side, but the whole room with 800 fans more or less roaring with laughter. Talk about success. The monkey, "Simon" was a huge success as well so I brought him with me everywhere on Sunday, including the photo session.

With me already doing an extra with Jewel, I just had to have Sean as well. Any reason to get near the guy without stalking is good... lol When I came up to me, the first thing Sean asked was: "How is the monkey?". The day before after the fancy dress I had come in from having some fresh air when I saw Sean and his assistant talking, having named the monkey an hour before I decided to introduce "Simon" to Sean. As I carefulyl approaced them, not wanting to interrupt anything, the two of them saw me and the assistant said to me "hey, we were just talking about you"... lol Just then Jewel came out of the bathroom as well, so I got to introduce the monkey to both. However, Jewel hadn't seen him move before, so when the monkey started moving and making noises as Jewel as about to pet him, she jumped backwards, saying: "whoa, that's freaky..." lol
